Tucked away behind South Sands beach in Salcombe, Country Life Apartment is set amongst beautiful gardens and surrounding countryside where you can hear the sound of a babbling brook and birdsong in a quiet and relatively unknown backwater, yet only a few minutes walk to the beach and close to the popular sailing centre of Salcombe. The Apartment is self contained and is an extension to the main house which was built around the 1960's.

Accommodation: From the parking area there are five short flights of steps to the front door of the apartment. Front door into small utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and coat pegs. Door and step up into open plan living room and kitchen. The living area has large curved picture windows with exquisite landscape views across the tree tops, fields and woodland beyond. Three seater sofa and two armchairs, dining table with four chairs, flat screen TV/DVD and a portable CD/radio. Kitchen area has fitted cupboards on two sides, fridge/freezer, electric oven, ceramic hob, single drainer sink and microwave. Door from living room into hallway with access to a double bedroom, 4ft 6in double bed, fitted wardrobe and basin. Bathroom with bath, electric shower over bath, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Directly off the living room is a twin bedroom with 3ft beds, fitted wardrobe with sliding doors, basin and large window with country views.
Outside: Opposite the front door is a fenced raised patio with garden table and four chairs and walks into the lovely
gardens that drop down to the entrance where you can hear the sound of running water from the stream, which runs along the garden boundary.
Included: Duvets, pillows (guests to provide their own bed linen and towels although linen can be hired from the owner's at £7 per set).
Electricity by £1 slot meter
Heating: electric oil heaters and partial central heating in the bedrooms (controlled from owners' house).
Parking Ample parking for 2 cars and a boat trailer.

Sandy beaches at South Sands, 10 minutes walk, North Sands 15/20 minutes walk. Other Salcombe estuary beaches accessible by ferry.
Shops pubs and restaurants all in Salcombe. The Winking Prawn, a popular seafood café/restaurant at North Sands. Overbecks National Trust house with cafe and spectacular gardens at Sharpitor 10 minutes drive or 20 minutes leisurely walk.
