We are delighted to welcome Dene Cottage back onto our portfolio for 2012 after a refurbishment, so there is currently plenty of availability!

Situated in the heart of Polperro in Cornwall and just five yeards from the harbour, Dene Cottage provides an attractive, comfortable hideaway in which to relax and get away from it all.  Recently tastefully and extensively refurbished, the cottage has beamed ceilings and wood burning stoves, and has been decorated to show off its deceptively spacious rooms to their best advantage.  There is a private sunny courtyard at the back with access to the coastal path.  Polperro is on of the best loved fishing villages in Cornwall, and Dene Cottage is set amidst the traditional cottages surrounding busy harbour where local fishing boats land their catch. You will find plenty of interesting shops and several excellent inns and restaurants without having to walk very far.  The beach will be a great draw to younger families and the coastal path gives access to miles of beautiful cliff walks with stunning views along this rugged coastline.

Accommodation:  Steps up to the front door, which opens into the bright and airy open plan kitchen/diner.  This is equipped with an electric cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine.  There is also a large table (to seat 4) and a feature fireplace fitted with a pot-bellied stove (for display only).  To the right is the spacious carpeted lounge with twin sofas, TV and DVD. From the lounge, stairs lead up to the landing with the master double bedroom to the front with a feature fireplace (for display only), 4'6" double bed, writing desk and wardrobe.  Between the two bedrooms is the family bathroom, fitted with bath (electric shower over), hand basin and WC. The rear bedroom has another 4' 6" double bed, a chaise longue, fitted wardrobe and a hand basin in vanity unit. 
Outside: Stable door from the dining room into a walled courtyard, which has garden furniture and a bench, with access via some steps and a gate directly onto the cliff path.

Pets: One well mannered pet welcome (downstairs only).  Pet charge: £25.00 per pet per week.
Parking: Parking is in the main car park or alternatively, Toad Hall Cottages have some spaces to rent on a first come, first served basis in the village. Please enquire at time of booking.
