This magnificent Victorian Lodge, a perfect destination at any time of  year is located in 5 acres of grounds, has a wonderful outdoor heated swimming pool, is close to the beautiful Yealm estuary and Newton Ferrers and is purpose built for large family reunions as well as friends and families sharing.  It has three very comfortable and stylish reception rooms, warming woodburning stoves, a fantastic kitchen, (used several times as a venue for TV cooking programmes), a formal dining room, sunny patios and a conservatory.  Guests are accommodated in 7 good quality bedrooms, each with either their own en-suite shower or bathroom and the sleeping accommodation can be divided up into suites, allowing each family a degree of privacy. Dove House has a comfortable and welcoming ambience and guests will find it hard not to relax and unwind in this perfect retreat. The kids will love the extensive grounds and of course the heated swimming pool with its large summer house, so there will be no problem getting them to sleep in the evenings while the adults enjoy al fresco dining on the patio outside the kitchen.  The picturesque Yealm estuary, flanked by the twin villages of Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo is a short walk away and guests are welcome to bring their own boats and explore this beautiful stretch of coastline. The two villages have a variety of excellent inns and restaurants as well as a village shop. The Lodge is well placed to allow guests easy access to all of Devon and Cornwall, but to be honest we don't think you will be straying too far from Dove House.  It's just easier to relax and enjoy the surroundings in the company of good friends and family. Now, how about a couple more lengths in the pool to work up an appetite for lunch...
