In the heart of the South Hams, tucked away down a secluded lane this cute 18th century cottage , one of a terrace of three exudes charm and character and provides a small, delightfully cosy hideaway for families or couples .  Step out of the front stable door and duck under a honeysuckle arch and you find yourself in a secluded garden with a summer house equipped with table and chairs.  The living room has a traditional open fire with window seats that look out onto the gardens and upstairs there are two comfortable bedrooms.  The village of Kingston is full of picturesque cottages, there is a lively village pub 400 yards down the lane and the beautiful wooded Erme estuary and sandy Wonwell beach are close by.  The popular family and surfing beaches of Bigbury on Sea and Bantham, which face Burgh Island are within easy driving distance as is the Bigbury on Sea golf course.  For those who like to explore the variety of things to see and do is immense with scenic Dartmoor, historic Plymouth, Salcombe and Dartmouth as well as Celtic Cornwall all being easily accessible for enjoyable and interesting days out. And for those that love walking the beautiful South West Coastal Path passes not far from the cottage.

 Accommodation: From pathway stable door opens into a small hall .  Tastefully furnished living room with real fire, exposed beams, window seats, sofa and two tub armchairs, LCD TV and DVD .  Gate-legged folding oak table and 4 chairs, large farmhouse dresser and new fitted kitchen area with ceramic hob, fan oven under, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave.  Off hallway family bathroom with bath, electric shower over, hand basin and WC.  Steep stairs up to twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds, fitted wardrobe and LCD TV.  From twin bedroom door to pretty double bedroom with sloping floors, window seat overlooking the garden, 4ft 6in double bed, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets with drawers.

Outside:   From front door a pathway leads diagonally to a secluded garden bordered with established trees and shrubs and a summerhouse furnished with glass topped wicker trimmed table and chairs.  Communal lawned garden to the rear with views across the countryside.  

Included: Bed linen , (not towels, but these can be provided at a charge by arrangement with owner), high chair, stairgate and electricity.
Heating Electric wall mounted convector heaters available if required May to end of September. (LPG central heating via combi boiler) available end of September to Spring Bank Holiday, £20 per week.
