Gables End

Gables End

Bantham

Self catering holiday cottage

South Devon

Gables End is the ground floor of an extended 1920's house, recently converted to a light and airy, self contained apartment. Nestled in a prime position in the village of Bantham in the South Hams, Gables End has outstanding views from its garden and terrace right across the River Avon, the beaches below and out towards Burgh Island and the sea . Those windows that do not have views of the estuary or sea look out on to the village and open countryside. Bantham is known for its large sandy beaches and excellent surf, making it a popular spot for both families and surfers alike. Bantham is also very popular with walkers as it is located on the South West Coastal Path. Within the picturesque village of thatched cottages and houses that line the road all the way down to the sand dunes and the open sea, is the well known Sloop Inn where you can wine and dine or just relax and enjoy the local ales and maritime atmosphere.

Accommodation:
Porch entrance into a shared lobby with doors to the two apartments. Door into hall with airing cupboard. The living room faces onto the rear terrace and gardens with a door out to the terrace and is furnished with 2 sofas, a 3 seater and a 2 seater, TV/DVD player and stereo/CD player. New fitted kitchen/diner with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dining table with seating for 4. Double bedroom with 5ft bed, fitted wardrobe and dual aspect windows with beautiful views. An additional shower, basin and WC are available in a wet room , for use after the beach. This is accessed from the entrance lobby and shared with the upper apartment.
