Garden Cottage is a real treat. The cottage has been totally and lovingly refurbished, is exceptionally comfortable, beautifully furnished, of the highest quality and is tucked away in a quiet residential road in the centre of Loddiswell.   This small hillside village, named after a well in the village belonging centuries ago to someone with the name of Lod, is set above the beautiful River Avon valley, with plenty of doorstep walks from the cottage and wonderful walking along the old Primrose railway line, a great walk for animal owners, families and ramblers. Just three miles from Kingsbridge at the head of the Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary and five miles from the beaches and sea at Thurlestone, Bantham or Bigbury on Sea, this is a really central spot from which to explore this beautiful area of the South Hams.

Accommodation:
The front stable door opens directly into the kitchen, beautifully equipped with soft cream units, good lighting and a feature brick arch inset with a fine Heritage cooker (electric Aga style) with twin hobs and double ovens. The kitchen has a twin ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, larder fridge and microwave. (A small freezer is located in the garage.) A circular dining table seats 4 with pew bench and 2 chairs. Glazed door into the sitting room with polished wood floor with a rug and fine feature fireplace inset with a wood burner, two sofas, 32" TV with DVD and window seats that peep out to the lower garden. Stairs to the landing and access to the terrace and garden. Both bedrooms have polished wood floors. Attractive double bedroom with feature stone wall, 4ft 6in double bed, wardrobe, hand basin and tiny en-suite with shower cubicle and WC. Second double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed. Bathroom with bath, hand shower basin and WC.

Outside: From the gated driveway, with parking for 2/3 cars and a garage, a path leads down to a wide terrace provided with table, chairs and barbecue. Steps lead down to the front door and on down to a walkway through a gate to Town Road. There is a sloping area of lawn and a path down to a paved area outside the sitting room and the garden is totally enclosed.
