It is approximately one mile from the village of East Portlemouth, with ferry to Salcombe, in an idyllic location within two acres of unspoilt, partly wooded grounds. The garden borders the stream that runs into the creek and has areas of lawn with shrubs and an attractive pond. The cottage is as pretty inside as out, the owner having gone to great lengths to make this an extremely comfortable home, with good quality carpets and furnishings, yet retaining all the olde worlde charm, with exposed beams, old fireplaces and stripped pine doors.

Note: At spring high tides (which occur throughout the year) and for one hour either side of high water, it may be difficult crossing the fords on the tidal road that accesses the property. On these occasions it is possible to park nearby and reach the cottage using the creek footpath. Tide Tables will be forwarded to guests with their travel directions.
