Situated just south of Wadebridge, North Cornwall, there is a treat in store for visitors to this really delightful detached and totally refurbished part eighteenth century stone Cornish cottage. The period character has been carefully retained and features lots of beams and tasteful attractive soft furnishings. Set in a secluded wooded valley with peaceful views and surrounded by large enclosed landscaped gardens, Hay Cottage not only provides exceptionally high quality and comfortable accommodation, but is ideally placed to explore the North Cornwall Coast with its breathtaking views, magnificent sandy beaches and excellent surfing and body boarding opportunities. Within 15 minutes of the cottage is the beautiful Camel estuary, fringed with unspoilt sandy beaches that open out to the superb horseshoe bay at Polzeath where the Atlantic rollers provide great surfing; or take the ferry from Rock to Padstow and indulge in cream teas or sample fine fare at renowned seafood restaurants. There are bracing cliff top walks from Pentire Point to Port Isaac; and the Camel Trail for cyclists is less than a mile from the cottage which links Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow.
