Haycroft is a surprisingly spacious Devon property that has been refurbished to a high standard and is tucked in the corner of a small group of 4 converted barns that surround a central courtyard and overlook the Avon valley on the edge of Loddiswell village, just 3 miles from Kingsbridge in the South Hams. This busy market town lies at the head of the estuary and from here a ferry can be taken in the summer to Salcombe, Devon's southernmost holiday and sailing resort. Kingsbridge offers a good selection of leisure facilities including a 25 metre swimming pool, as well as a choice of pubs and restaurants. A wealth of attractions, including sandy beaches at Bantham and Thurlestone, the close proximity of Dartmoor and interesting towns in the gloriously unspoilt South Hams makes a stay here a wonderful experience.

Accommodation:
Door into hallway. Roomy kitchen with wood burner, tiled floor, fine cream fitted units with eye level double electric oven, ceramic electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and table to seat 8. Stable door to paved area in front of the cottage. Utility room with sink, washing machine and freezer. Carpeted stairs up to spacious sitting room with large squashy sofa and chairs, flame effect electric fire, TV/DVD/Freesat and windows overlooking the courtyard and rolling hills beyond. On the same level, large master bedroom with window onto the pretty garden, 5ft bed, pine furniture and en-suite shower room with shower, basin and WC. Stairs up to second level. Two pretty bedrooms with sloping ceilings, one twin room and a single bedroom, both with 3ft beds. Adjacent bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Unusual, spacious, open-plan 'garden' room with scissor beams and large, very comfortable double sofa bed, a further single divan bed, TV and French window leading down to the secluded garden. This room can be used as a bedroom, sitting room or a combination.

Outside: From the shared courtyard in front of the cottage, steps lead up to a patio area. The most attractive small, enclosed garden is at the rear of the cottage accessed from the 'garden' room, with open tread steps to a paved, very sunny spot with attractive seating.
