Honeysuckle Barn is a delightful bright and sunny, former stable block barn conversion on the southernmost outskirts of Noss Mayo and its twin village of Newton Ferrers. Built in 1882 by Lord Revelstoke, this former country estate was sympathetically converted into a number of delightful cottages in 1986 and Honeysuckle was completely refurbished in 2008, with further improvements undertaken in 2011.  The barns encircle quiet courtyards set within landscaped gardens, complete with a games room, picnic areas with barbeque and tennis court.  The two pretty villages, both linked by a ferry or a causeway at low tide have shops, waterside pubs and restaurants and this lovely coastal area provides many spectacular cliff walks, with interesting paths leading down to secret smugglers' coves. For the more adventurous, the nearby historic city of Plymouth provides a host of cultural and entertaining facilities and the routes to the Dartmoor National Park and Celtic Cornwall are easily accessible.

Accommodation: Light and airy, south facing sitting room with views over the gardens, comfortably furnished with two sofas with a flat screen TV, DVD and stereo. Oak laminate wooden floors extend throughout the ground floor.  The
dining room with dresser, wooden table and chairs to seat 6 plus an occasional tub armchair.  Shaker style kitchen with oak work surfaces, butler sink, electric ceramic hob, oven and grill, separate fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave.  Carpeted stairs to landing. Family bathroom with bath, electric shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.  Twin bedroom with 5ft bed (2 x 2ft 6in link beds which can be separated to form 2 singles) and a bunk bedroom with 3' beds, both with views over garden. Lastly, a very spacious master double bedroom, with a 5ft bed and TV and en suite shower room with shower
cubicle, hand basin and WC.

Outside: A south facing sun terrace with extensive views over the garden to the surrounding countryside.  The large garden has a communal barbecue/picnic area and tennis court.  Within the courtyard area is a games room with darts and table tennis. The games room also has two coin operated commercial washing machines and tumble dryers.

Included:  Duvets, pillows, bed linen, (no towels), outside chairs, tennis rackets, table tennis bats, cot and high chair. (Cot linen also provided).    
Heating (electric storage heaters) from end September to Spring Bank Holiday £25 per week.
