The cottage is ideally located to provide a perfect base for exploring the picturesque South Hams and there are plenty of invigorating and spectacular walks along the nearby South West coastal path or the pretty Avon estuary. Bigbury on Sea and nearby Bantham have wide sandy beaches and are a haven for surfers and lovers of water sports and you can cross over the sands at low tide to Burgh Island and enjoy a tipple in the Pilchard Inn. The yachting Meccas of Salcombe and Dartmouth are easily accessible by car, as is the Dartmoor National Park. As an added convenience an excellent village shop with an exceptional range of products, including an olive bar and wide selection of cheeses, is just a few yards away from the cottage.
