This recently renovated, light and airy south facing cottage is located in the little hamlet of St Anne's Chapel, a couple of miles from the sandy beaches of Bigbury on Sea in South Devon. Originally two cottages it provides plenty of comfortable living space with a sunny patio and garden overlooking fields with views of the sea in the distance. Presented in a fresh contemporary style it has a spacious sitting room with woodburner set in an Inglenook fireplace, a separate dining room, four bedrooms, a bathroom and separate shower room. The cottage is ideally located to provide a perfect base for exploring the picturesque South Hams and there are plenty of invigorating and spectacular walks along the nearby South West coastal path or the pretty Avon estuary. on Sea and nearby Bantham have wide sandy beaches and are a haven for surfers and lovers of water sports and you can cross over the sands at low tide to Burgh Island and enjoy a tipple in the Pilchard Inn. The yachting Meccas of Salcombe and Dartmouth are easily accessible by car, as is the Dartmoor National Park. As an added convenience an excellent village shop with an exceptional range of products, including an olive bar and wide selection of cheeses, is just a few yards away from the cottage.
Accommodation: From the parking area, front door into a hallway with coat hooks and shoe rack. Oak flooring throughout ground floor and sunny sitting room with woodburner stove set in inglenook fireplace, bay window overlooking the garden, two sofas and two occasional chairs, 32in LCD TV with Freeview and DVD. French doors to patio. Dining room with inglenook fireplace and dining table and chairs to seat 8. French doors to patio. Archway to modern shaker style kitchen equipped with an electric ceramic hob with oven under, fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Door to lane running behind the house. Downstairs cloakroom at bottom of stairs with hand basin and WC. Stairs to landing running the width of the cottage. Bedroom 1 , 4ft 6in double bed, hanging recess, chest of drawers and Juliet balcony with country and distant sea views. Bedroom 2 with two 3ft bunk beds, chest of drawers and hanging rail. Family bathroom with bath, electric shower over, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. Shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. Bedroom 3 with two 3ft single beds, 2 chests of drawers and hanging rail. Bedroom 4 with 4ft 6in double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and country and distant sea views.
Outside. From the sitting or dining room French doors open onto a sunny patio. Steps up to a lawn bordered by a low Devon Bank with a decked area furnished with garden table and chairs. ( Please note that the low Devon bank that separates the garden from fields will not constitute a barrier for inquisitive young children or dogs).
Included: Bed linen, towels (guests must provide their own beach towels) and electricity. Travel cot and high chair available on request.
Heating: Gas central heating. Winter heating supplement from end of September to Spring Bank Holiday, £25.00 per week.
Pets: One well behaved dog welcome to be kept downstairs. Pet charge £25.00 per week.

Excellent village shop and Post Office in St Ann's Chapel, 20 metres. Kingsbridge with shops, supermarkets, banks, cinema pubs, restaurants and sport centre 5 miles. Modbury with shops and pubs 3 miles.
