This really is a delightful cottage, tastefully refurbished and perched on the hillside with lovely views from the sunny decking of the wooded valley and upper Looe river. Here you can sit and soak up the sun, safe from the noise and bustle of Looe whilst enjoying a quiet read or an alfresco meal as you watch the sun sink behind the hills. The town itself, with all the attractions of this popular seaside resort, the sandy beach and banjo pier are only 10 minutes walk away and the whole of Celtic Cornwall is easily accessible for those who like exploring. The cottage retains many period features, has pine floorboards and is beautifully presented with a modern kitchen and spacious dining area. The comfortable lounge has a real fireplace making this a true all year round destination. There are some lovely walks in the area and the South West Coastal path, with its spectacular sea views passes through Looe and one can spend a lovely day walking to the nearby, quintessentially Cornish fishing village of Polperro. For those arriving by train, the cottage is just one minute by taxi or a five minute walk uphill. Lowena Cottage offers guests a welcoming and comfortable home from home and is a perfect base for a memorable holiday.
