This is also great walking country, with the South West Coastal Path leading you along the dramatic coastline to the lighthouse on rocky Start Point, passing through the pretty fishing village of Beesands and the sea battered ruins of Hallsands on the way. The historic port of Dartmouth with its famous golf club is a short drive away and the many popular golden sandy beaches of the beautiful South Hams are on your doorstep, with every variety of water sports that you can think of on offer.
