"What a lovely, character filled village with a cottage to match," reads one of the many complimentary comments in the guest book and it aptly sums up this delightful retreat.  Low, beamed ceilings, wooden stairs, cosy rooms and a sumptuous bedroom with four-poster bed combine to create a welcoming atmosphere in this traditional fisherman's cottage, tucked away about 150 yards from the harbour.   The owners have been at pains to retain the cottage ambience and it obviously works as many satisfied guests have been returning for years.  A rear garden with two terraces adds to the attraction. Potter down to the
harbour to sample any of the traditional inns, restaurants and shops or just to enjoy the spectacle of this popular Cornish fishing village.

Accommodation: Front door into kitchen/diner with quarry-tiled floor, feature fireplace and window seat. Well equipped kitchen with pine units, cooker, fridge with icebox, microwave and washer/dryer.  Dining table to seat four.  Stairs up to cosy, comfortable carpeted lounge with feature fireplace, antique pine mantle,  window seat, drop leaf table with two chairs and pine dresser.  Two 2 seater sofas, TV with Freeview and DVD and Radio/CD player.  Shower room off first floor landing with shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and shaver point.  Further stairs (mind your head!) up to romantic double bedroom with King sized four poster bed, two window seats and plenty of hanging and drawer space.  There is a 'Z' bed that can be used for a child as well as a travel cot.

Outside:  A door from the first floor landing opens onto steep steps, which clamber up to the garden with
two terraces both with garden tables and chairs.  From here there are some lovely views of the village over the rooftops.

Please note: The stairs are steep, so young children should be supervised.

Included: Bed linen (towels can be hired from owners, not  beach towels), travel cot, electricity and heating (night storage, plus fan and portable heaters).
Pets: One well mannered pet welcome.  Pet charge £25.00 per pet per week.
Parking:   Private allocated parking 75 yards. Unloading possible outside.  Please Note: Transport into the village from the main car park is by electric tram or your own two feet, the harbour being approximately half a mile away.  Some vehicle access is possible, but not to all parts of the village and is especially difficult during the summer.

Beach:   Polperro beach 2 minutes walk.  Talland beach 1 mile. Other south coast beaches are easily accessible by car.
