A special feature of the village is the Tamar Valley railway station, where trains run direct to Plymouth (20 minutes) and across the Tamar to Gunnislake in Cornwall. Accommodation: A glazed porch with stable door has benches and area for boot storage and opens into the most attractive and comfortable sitting room , furnished with a sofa, chairs, TV with DVD and a fireplace inset with a wood burner. Door to a galley kitchen with fine handcrafted fittings, dishwasher and microwave and leads out to a well equipped, kitchen/dining room with oak floor, fridge, freezer, gas hob, double ovens, coffee machine and dining table to seat 6. French windows open to the patio and garden. Off the living room is an unusual den, a snug room with TV and video , a single 3ft bed, and a double sleeping platform above (reached by a sturdy ladder), great for children. Adjacent shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC and utility room with washing machine and garden access. Stairs (fairly steep) to the very pretty bedrooms. The master bedroom has a wrought iron bedstead (4ft 6in), skylight and en-suite shower room with basin and WC. Further double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed, and stunning views. Bathroom with antique enamelled bath, basin and WC and river views.

Outside: To the rear of the cottage is a small patio with steps up to a small walled, very pretty garden with fruit trees, shrubs and patio area with river views. Lawns (not private) extend from the front of the cottage to the water's edge.
