Situated only yards from the harbour, Mermaid Cottage is a delightful whitewashed fisherman's cottage located in the very centre of this popular fishing village. Providing comfortable and convenient accommodation, this cottage is superb for a family or a couple who want to be in the thick of things and within easy reach of the shops, pubs and restaurants in the village. The accommodation is arranged on three floors and is only a few steps from the picturesque harbour and Polperro beach. Beamed ceilings add to the feeling of a bygone era and the cosy lounge provides an ideal place for the family to relax in the evening after an exhausting day sampling the many attractions that are accessible in and around this lovely area.

Accommodation
Door from the lane into a small entrance porch and then into the modern kitchen/diner, which is equipped with ceramic hob and built under electric oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave. Pine table and four chairs in the dining area, window seat. Stairs lead up to the first floor and the cosy lounge with a natural stone fireplace and a coal effect electric fire, large sofa and an armchair, flat screen TV, and window seat with views to the quayside. Off the landing is the family shower room with shower cubicle, countertop hand basin, WC, shaver point and heated towel rail. Stairs up to second floor with double bedroom at the front, 4'6" double bed,  fitted wardrobes, dressing table and drawers. Across the landing is a compact bunk bedroom, cleverly designed to use the space available with two bunk beds arranged in an L shape, with a small hanging cupboard beneath.

Pets One well mannered pet welcome. Pet charge £25.00 per pet.
Parking We have a parking space available for rent nearby on a first-come, first-served basis - please enquire at the time of booking. Alternatively, weekly tickets are available in the main Car Park. Unloading is possible outside the property. Please Note: Transport into the village from the main car park is either by electric tram or your own two feet, the harbour being approximately half a mile away.  Some vehicle access is possible, but not to all parts of the village and is especially difficult during the summer.

Beach Polperro beach 2 minutes walk. Talland beach 1 mile. Other beaches are easily accessible by car.
