This picture postcard thatched 17th century cottage, attached on one side to Bay Tree Cottage (property code BAYTC ), is in the very heart of Thurlestone, South Devon and has been completely renovated, retaining its old world charm but with every modern comfort. Perfectly located with the village shop and traditional village inn a short distance away and beautiful golden sandy beaches just 15 minutes walk, The Nook is a delightful cottage with its attractive furniture and furnishings, open fire and cosy but bright atmosphere with the advantage of a spacious mature garden & patio. A warm welcome with complimentary bottle of wine and tea tray await you.
 
Accommodation:
From the village lane the front door opens into a most attractive sitting room with open feature fireplace, sofas, micro CD hi fi, TV and DVD player. Door to fully fitted kitchen with electric hob, built-in electric oven, microwave, washing machine and 2 fridges with ice boxes. Extending from the kitchen the spacious dining area, with table to seat 6, faces large French doors that overlook the garden and open to a paved terrace. Downstairs cloakroom with basin and WC. Stairs lead up from the sitting room to a landing. Double bedroom with 5ft bed and fitted wardrobe and dressing table. A bathroom is adjacent to this room with bath, basin and WC. Twin bedroom with 2ft 6in beds, built in wardrobe and a small single bedroom (2ft 6in bed) with tallboy. Adjacent shower room with shower, basin and WC.

Outside: A paved area outside the kitchen has table, chairs and barbecue and a path winds through shrubberies and opens out into an attractive lawned area that is totally private and enclosed. To the right side of the front door is a right of way between this cottage and its neighbour providing access to the rear of the cottage and the garden.

Included: Duvets, pillows, travel cot, high chair .
Bed linen and towels may be hired from an independent hire company - details from Toad Hall Cottages.
Central heating (oil) & electricity: summer £10 per week, end September to Spring Bank Holiday £15 per week. Logs may be purchased locally.
Pets:  One well behaved dog welcome. Pet charge £25 per pet per week.
Parking: Parking Permit provided for one car at Parish Hall car park (200 yds). On road parking possible where available.
No smoking.
Telephone: Telephone for incoming and outgoing,  local and 999 calls. Mobile signal variable. 
Beach, golf club and course (handicap required) and tennis courts half a mile.
Pub 100 yards. Village shop 200 yards.
