Make no mistake, a luxury retreat with every modern convenience at your disposal this is not.  What it is however is a charming, no frills seaside lodge, affectionately known as 'The Hut', perched on the cliff that overlooks the golden beach of South Sands on the outskirts of Salcombe, with possibly some of the best views you could wish for from every room. This is a fun destination where everyone will need to pitch in, not complain about the odd bit of flaking paint or unfashionable bathrooms, but instead relish the fact that the beach is just below you and you can keep an eye on the kids from the garden as they play on the beach.  Other advantages include sufficient parking on the drive to enable you to bring your own small boat, easy access to all the watersports you could wish for and a garden that provides a lovely sunny spot from where you can watch the busy comings and goings on the water and the beach whilst you are tending to the barbecue. For those that love walking the South West Coastal Path passes nearby and gives access to some stunning coastal walks. If after all that you are not too tired a pleasant stroll or drive into Salcombe enables you to sample some lovely traditional pubs, excellent restaurants and a host of interesting shops, but if not there are excellent restaurants at North and South Sands. So then, are you up for it?  Because like many before you and confirmed by the positive comments in the visitors' book we know you'll have a fantastic time.

Accommodation:   Entrance hallway for wet wellies, wet dogs and wetsuits. At one end a spacious kitchen/diner with views down to the beach. Dining   area with table and chairs to seat 8.  Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge with icebox, additional fridge/freezer, small dishwasher and microwave.  The lounge is at the other end of the house and has panoramic windows with spectacular views, two sofas (one a 4ft 6in sofa bed for occasional use), cane chairs and bean bags. TV with DVD . Fireplace.  Off the lounge the master bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed, wardrobe and corner sink, (cold water only).  Shower room , shower cubicle with electric shower, hand basin, (cold water only) WC, heated towel rail and washing machine.  Twin bedroom with 2ft 6in single bed with additional 2ft 6in pull out bed.  Second double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed.  Second twin bedroom with 2ft 6in single bed and additional 2ft 6in pull out bed.  Bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and WC. 
 
Outside:   Steps down from the dining room or the hallway to the garden which overlooks the beach, furnished with garden table and chairs.

Included: Duvets, pillows, bed linen, (guests to provide their own towels), travel cot, high chair, electricity and  oil central heating.
Pets: Two well behaved pets welcome.  Pet charge £25.00 per pet per week.
