The Round House is situated in one of the loveliest corners of Devon in the peaceful hamlet of South Huish between Salcombe and Thurlestone. Part of a group of luxury converted Georgian barns set in beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds of 4 acres; the cottage has use of both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and an all weather tennis court and croquet lawn  The Round House, which has been totally refurbished to an outstanding standard, is most interesting, all on one level it features a fabulous, unusual semi-circular living room with outstanding, far-reaching and uninterrupted views across fields and down to the sea. This is a gorgeous spot, ideal for walking, golf, bird watching, sailing and all types of watersports. The beautiful Salcombe estuary with its golden beaches is only 3 miles away and the sea at Thurlestone Sands, less than a mile. This is a wonderful beach for sunbathing, swimming and watersports, whilst a little further around the coast is Thurlestone village itself, with its famous links golf course. So come here to be spoilt for choice with so much to enjoy both in the immediate vicinity of the property and the surrounding area.

Accommodation
The front door opens to a gleaming limestone tiled hallway with skirting board lighting and a cupboard housing washing machine and tumble dryer. The hallway extends into the spacious semi-circular living room that features polished wood floor, exposed spiral beams and fabulous views from the patio doors and picture windows. Accessed from the patio doors is a fabulous new raised deck (see "Outside" section below).  The room is most comfortably furnished with a large cream sofa, generous twin sofa-chairs (that convert to single beds), large flat screen TV with basic sky package and DVD, iPod dock wired to surround sound and a circular dining table to seat 8. The superb new kitchen area has eye level double electric ovens, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge and separate freezer. Master double bedroom with 6ft x 6ft 6in double bed, plasma TV, fitted cupboards, hair dryer and a superb  very contemporary en-suite bathroom with bath, power shower over, heated towel rail, basin and WC. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds and fitted cupboards. Smart new family bathroom features a double ended bath with central taps, large corner shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC. Carpeted stairs rise to a half galleried bedroom above the living room with two 3ft beds and skylight. Both bathrooms are stocked with L'Occitane products.

Outside: Accessed from the patio doors is a stunning raised deck with large dining table to seat 8, a barbecue and a luxurious day bed.  It  is a perfect place to sunbathe or enjoy dinner watching the sunset over the sea.  Court Barton is approached along a private drive and each cottage has its own parking space and there is plenty of visitor parking. Arranged around two beautiful flower filled courtyards with manicured lawns, The Round House is tucked in the corner of the Upper Courtyard, with views looking down to the sea. The heated outdoor pool in the lower courtyard is open from May to September, the indoor heated pool is open all year and there are changing rooms and an adjacent shower room with WC. The all weather tennis court is located in a peaceful spot in the mown four-acre grounds that include an orchard and a croquet lawn.

Reception. This is manned from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday, Thursday and Friday inclusive in high season (in low and mid season Monday and Friday). A comfortable area close to reception is provided with Broadband Wi-Fi and seating for those who wish to catch up on those essential emails (available only during reception open hours). Wi-Fi is accessible around the pool area at all times. WiFi is available in the cottages as well, however this is dependent on signal strength and may vary in each cottage.

Shop and pub 1.5 miles at  Malborough.  Salcombe with shops, pubs,  restaurants and beaches 3 miles.
