Saltstone is a charming holiday home located 2 miles from the pretty village of East Portlemouth and the popular sandy beaches of Millbay and Sandy Cove. The village of East Portlemouth overlooks a beautiful estuary, always alive with boating activity and is linked by a passenger ferry to the popular harbour town of Salcombe. This semi detached modern cottage is tastefully furnished, spacious, well equipped and set in a quiet rural location, not far from East Prawle, with its well known and lively Pig's Nose Inn. Access to the spectacular South West Coastal Path  is easy, giving plenty of opportunity to enjoy some memorable cliff walks which link the many sandy coves dotted along the coast. Alternatively you can try your hand at sailing or watersports, sample the many excellent restaurants, pubs and shops in the delightful town of Salcombe or take the opportunity to day trip and explore this varied and beautiful part of the West Country.

 Accommodation:
Entrance porch for wet wellies and wet dogs. Newly fitted kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and dining table to seat six. Cloakroom with shower cubicle and WC. The sunny lounge has three comfortable sofas, TV with DVD and dual aspect windows. The lounge annex has a futon double sofa bed and stairs leading to the bedrooms. Double bedroom with kingsize bed, dressing table and chest of drawers. Twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds. Family bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. A Devonshire Cream Tea provides a warm welcome for guests to Saltstone.

Outside: A gateway leads to private parking area for 2/3 cars and room for a boat . Private terraced patio area outside kitchen door with garden furniture. The large enclosed garden is planted with trees and has a shed for bike and wetsuit storage as well as a raised decked area with rural views towards Salcombe and Dartmoor.

Central heating (oil) from end September to Spring Bank Holiday £20 a week.
Pets welcome.  Pet charge £25.00 per pet per week.
