Beautiful views and great walks, wonderful golden sandy beaches within easy reach and a welcoming detached single storey retreat in which to unwind ticks all the boxes for a great holiday and this beautifully presented home has them all. The South West Coastal Path is only 25 yards from the door, which meanders along the nearby cliffs, just one mile down the hill are 2 miles of golden sands and the famous Tarka Trail is also nearby. Set above the vibrant town of Westward Ho! in a quiet residential area, ideally placed to take advantage of all that the stunning North Devon coast has to offer, this property is a must for families, walkers and cyclists and the owners have created a wonderful home from home for either summer or winter holidays. This whole area is renowned for possibly the best surfing beaches in the UK and Westward Ho! provides everything required for a fantastic seaside holiday, including kayaking and kite surfing for the more adventurous. The property itself is extremely well presented and equipped, has full gas central heating as well as a double garage in which to store surfing gear and kayaks. It also has a fully enclosed private sunny rear garden where one can sit out and relax with a drink and a book because frankly, you're just too comfortable to move!

Accommodation:
Front door into hallway. Large sunny lounge with laminate oak flooring, coal effect gas fire and cabinet with plenty of books and games. One 3 seater and one 2 seater sofa as well as a leather occasional chair and footstool. 2 comfortable beanbags. 42" flat screen TV with DVD and VHS player . Double doors through to dining room with oak table and 6 chairs. Patio doors into the garden. Archway through to large kitchen , with gas hob and electric oven under, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. Family bathroom with bath, Mira electric shower over, hand basin, WC and shaver point. Master bedroom with 4'6" double bed, bedside chest of drawers, wardrobe and full length free standing mirror. En-suite shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and shaver point. Second double bedroom with 4'6" double bed, bedside chest of drawers and wardrobe. Twin bunkroom with 3' bunk beds, (can be separated if required) and chest of drawers.
Outside: Large, safe, enclosed rear garden, mainly lawn but with mature shrubs and trees. Patio area with garden table and chairs for 6. Double garage with ample parking for up to three cars.

 

 

Property: Self-Catering Holiday Bungalow.
Included: Duvets, pillows, bed linen (not towels) and summer electricity.
Heating: Gas central heating (radiators in every room) with coal effect gas fire in lounge. Winter heating supplement, end of September till spring bank holiday, £25.00 per week.
No telephone but mobile reception good.
Strictly no smoking.
Parking: Double garage with further parking off road.
Beaches: Westward Ho! beach 1 mile or walk downhill. Plenty of other amazing beaches within easy driving distance.
Local shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs in Westward Ho! More facilities, restaurants and supermarkets in either Bideford (2 miles) or Barnstaple (9 miles).
Golf: Famous Royal North Devon golf course, the oldest links in the UK, 2 miles. (Handicap required).
