Leave the car in the parking space and a short stroll down the lane brings you to the beach and the older quarter of town, which has narrow streets full of interesting curiosity shops, pubs and restaurants.  If you can drag the kids away from the beach there are plenty of other things to do, be it trying your hand at sea fishing, walking along the stunning South West Coastal Path to the fishing village of Polperro, taking the car to the famous Eden Project or just exploring this beautiful Celtic county. When you return at the end of the day you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy an al fresco meal while you watch the sun go down.  Sounds perfect doesn't it?
