This lovely apartment is located on the top floor of this recently refurbished vicarage with wonderful views of the estuary through its Gothic arched windows. Well proportioned rooms, with period features that the owners have been at pains to retain, combine with tasteful furnishings and décor to create a special and restful holiday destination. The remainder of the vicarage is run by the owners as an exclusive B & B and they are very happy to provide breakfast to apartment guests if they want to avoid early morning catering during their stay (for a modest additional charge). Relax in the walled garden with its manicured lawns, or stroll down to the bustling harbour to watch the fishing boats. The town itself provides a host of diversions, with an abundance of quality pubs, restaurants and shops. The sandy beach and Banjo pier provide plenty of entertainment for young families and the South West Coastal Path runs along this beautiful and rugged coastline.
Accommodation: Front door into the hallway and then separate door to stairwell leading up to the apartment. All rooms leading off the large landing with the spacious lounge/diner at the front of the house, with lovely views over the gardens to the estuary. Full carpeted with feature fireplace, large sofa, armchair, matching footstool, coffee table and Widescreen TV and DVD. In one corner is the dining area with a modern glass table and 4 chairs. The well equipped kitchen is next to the lounge, with an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge with icebox. The master double bedroom is also at the front of the apartment, again with lovely views through the Gothic arched windows. This sumptuous room has a 5ft double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and hand basin. The twin room is at the rear of the apartment, with two 3ft single beds. There is a separate cloakroom , known as the throne room and the family bathroom has a Victorian roll top bath with shower over, a hand basin as well as a linen storage cupboard.
Outside: The large communal walled garden is at the front of the property with well tended border shrubs and extensive lawn. There are several tables and chairs for guests to relax in whilst soaking up some West Country sunshine. Last, but not least the apartment also has its own garage parking.
