Sloopside is located in a quiet, narrow country lane in the delightful, archetypal Devonshire village of Bantham. Within walking distance is the wonderful, almost tropical, Bantham Beach, considered to be one of the best in the West Country and very popular with surfers and other watersports enthusiasts. This spacious, light and airy detached home enjoys wonderful views across the fields to Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island's famous Art Deco hotel. Comfortably furnished, it is set within its own half acre, enclosed garden surrounded on three sides by meadowland. Sloopside is the perfect holiday home for a variety of folk, as it has much to offer all age groups. The garden lends itself to a variety of outdoor games and the Wendy House affords endless fun for small children. As well as the beach, the popular 'olde worlde' Sloop Inn is a short walk away and serves excellent meals. Perfect for families, this property is also highly desirable for couples at any time of the year. It is conveniently located for playing golf at Thurlestone and Bigbury and for enjoying miles of lovely coastal walks. The beautiful scenery around the beach and the river estuary provides good fishing and wonderful inspiration for keen artists.

Accommodation:
Staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the first floor. Lovely, light and airy, uncluttered, spacious living room with superb views, three very comfortable sofas, flat screen TV, DVD, iPod speakers, CD player and telephone. L-shaped dining area with table and seating for 10. Two sets of dual aspect patio doors from living room to good sized balcony overlooking the garden, with terrace furniture. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with electric double oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer and numerous additional kitchen accessories. Cloakroom with basin and WC. Double bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, power shower, basin and WC. This room has patio doors that open directly onto the balcony.
Ground floor: Entrance hall. Double bedroom with 5ft bed. Bunk bedroom with full size 3ft bunks. Family room (sleeps 4) with two sets of full size bunks and French doors to the garden. Shower room with power shower, basin and WC. Washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside: Large, totally enclosed garden, mainly laid to lawn with garden furniture and a children's Wendy House.

Included: Duvets, pillows, bed linen cot, high chair and summer electricity.
Towels may be hired from independant hire company via Toad Hall Cottages.
Heating (night storage and panel heaters) and electricity end of September to Spring Bank Holiday £25 per week.
Telephone and wireless broadband. Telephone is for incoming & local calls, guests to supply own BT chargecard for all other calls. No mobile reception.
Ample parking in own drive.
Beach one third of a mile. Shop 200 yards.
