Contemporary, smart, recently built and very stylish, this is a delightful cottage for couples or a small family, an ideal hideaway. Attached on one side, the cottage is set on the edge of the prime coastal village of Strete, close to some of the best coastal scenery and beaches of South Devon. Walking here is unsurpassed with the coastal path passing through the village, which itself enjoys a good local inn, restaurant and post office shop. The village is on a main bus route that stops at the beaches and goes on to Dartmouth or further west to Kingsbridge and Plymouth, so there is much to enjoy from this most comfortable cottage, not least the cream tea on arrival.

Accommodation:
Paved path to front door. The door opens into a smart, spacious living room with ceramic tiled flooring throughout. Bi-folding doors open across one wall with country views and creating a very light and bright attractive atmosphere. A large comfortable sofa (converts to a 4ft small double bed) and two tub chairs face a modern electric flame effect fire and 32" TV with DVD. A handsome oak dining table seats 4 with tall backed leather chairs. The kitchen area is well fitted and equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and a stainless steel range cooker with double electric oven and five ring gas hob. Separate bedroom that has glimpses of the sea, a free standing wardrobe, antique pine chest and attractive white wrought iron 5ft bedstead. The smart contemporary bathroom has wood panel walls, a good size bath, basin, WC and separate corner shower.
Outside: The gated parking area shared with the owners, has space for one car. A gated path at the side of the
cottage opens out to a fenced, paved patio area that has country views and is provided with table and chairs.
Included: Bed linen, towels, electricity and summer central heating. No cot or high chair.
Central heating (oil, underfloor heating throughout the cottage) and winter electricity from end September to Spring Bank Holiday £25 per week.
Pets: One well behaved dog welcome. £25.00 per pet per week.

Parking for one car in private gated driveway
Beaches at Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands 1.5 miles. Pub with AA Rosette, P/O village stores and restaurant a few yards. Watersports facilities with kayaking, zapcats, wake boarding and kite/wind surfing available at either Blackpool Sands or Slapton Sands.
Dartmouth 5 miles. Kingsbridge 9 miles.
