Swallows Cottage is the entire ground floor of 'Weavers Barn', a 400 year old Grade II listed barn that has been carefully renovated and transformed by its current owners into a charming holiday home, tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. Amongst the long history of different uses the barn has had are a venue for weaving the original Cornish tartan, a chapel and stabling for coach horses, to name but a few. Now though it is bright, cheery and comfortable and has an excellent lawned garden to relax in and enjoy outdoor cooking on the impressive barbecue at the end of a day on the beach. Situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Mitchell and only a short drive from Newquay, Fistral Bay (centre of the UK's surfing scene) and both north and south Cornish coasts, it is ideally placed to visit many of Cornwall's best beaches, renowned restaurants and major attractions - Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Maritime Museum, Trerice House with its magnificent gardens - all within easy striking distance. A welcoming Cornish cream tea is provided on arrival.

Accommodation
Stable door into attractive contemporary style kitchen/diner with beamed ceiling, stripped wood flooring, cream units, electric hob, built under oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dining table seating four. Door into utility room with washing machine, dishwasher, basin and WC. Open doorway from the kitchen into the hall leading to a sitting room and a double bedroom at each end. Beamed sitting room with two seater sofa, two cane chairs, flat screen, wall mounted TV/DVD and feature sloping slate window sill. Master double bedroom with two 3ft beds that can be zip linked to form a 6ft king size double bed, wall mounted TV/DVD, large wicker chair and arched walk through to built in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The other bedroom has an ornate 4ft 6in double bed, built in wardrobe, wicker chair and an adjoining shower room with shower, basin and WC. The beds have luxurious Tempur mattresses.

Outside: At the rear of the cottage is a spacious private enclosed garden for exclusive use of guests. The garden is bordered with shrubs and trees and divided into a flat lawn one side and a vegetable garden, barbecue area (with laid up barbecue) and decking the other. There are two round garden tables seating up to 8 on the lawn and a further table and seating on the decking.
