The Cedars is cool, contemporary, a real state of the art detached property in an outstanding location close to Bigbury on Sea's beach . In fact sitting on the sunny south facing verandah is not unlike lounging on the deck of a luxury liner at anchor, enabling you to enjoy the panorama provided by the wide sweep of Bigbury Bay which encompasses Bantham beach, Burgh Island and wonderful far reaching vistas to the headland of Bolt Tail. This stunning property, which is all on one level, is just yards from the sandy stretches of Bigbury beach, enjoys a very private Mediterranean style garden with delightful seating tucked in corners. A wide terrace overlooks the beach and Burgh Island and the superb, exceedingly comfortable and stylish accommodation with the floor to ceiling tinted windows that provide complete privacy whilst making the most of the views. Here is a paradise for swimming, sailing, surfing, kite and wind surfing, walking or just sunbathing on the beach or in the garden.
Accommodation: The front door opens directly into the very stylish living room with floor to ceiling tinted windows that run the length of the property and include two sets of patio doors. This lovely room that evokes the Mediterranean on a blue summer's day, is spacious and comfortable with 2 large sofas and chairs, a dining table to seat 8, wall mounted HD TV with standard Sky package and iPod dock. An archway leads into the superbly equipped and fitted kitchen that includes a built-in eye level double oven, halogen hob and extractor over, microwave, dishwasher and larder fridge. Door into utility area with tumble dryer, washing machine, freezer and access to the rear of the property. Master bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed, fitted cupboards, patio doors to terrace and sea views and en-suite shower room with power shower, basin and WC. Small bunk bedroom with full size 3ft bunk beds. Luxury bathroom with double ended spa bath, basin, bidet, WC and separate electric corner shower. Twin bedroom with two 3ft beds. Second double bedroom with fine sea views, patio doors to terrace, pine furniture and 5ft bed.
Outside: From the car parking area, suitable for 2/3 cars, gated steps rise beside the enclosed garden area to the terrace and front door. The upper terrace is gravelled and screened with low reed fencing. Steps down to lawn area, dotted with palms, seating, patio area with table and chairs and well screened from the road to provide privacy, ideal for al fresco meals. A path leads around the side of the house to the rear with fenced grassy banks.
