This delightful property is set back from the road leading down to the head of the Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary and being right in the heart of the South Hams it provides an ideal location for either a relaxing holiday or short break.  Recently completely refurbished it has a large lounge, a comfortable bedroom with en suite and a modern kitchen.  Steps from the kitchen lead up to a wide decked area and garden, furnished with table and chairs and this is a lovely spot to unwind in the sun and enjoy the views over the rooftops of Kingsbridge.  A short walk will bring you to the centre of this pretty market town and from here you can catch the River Maid ferry down to the lively seaside town of Salcombe, where you will find a host of beaches, restaurants, pubs and shops to keep you entertained.  There are plenty of scenic walks, both country and coastal, interesting towns and pretty villages to explore and the beautiful Dartmoor National Park is only short drive away.

Accommodation: A flight of steps lead up from the lane to this cottage, built on three levels and situated behind an adjoining property.  Mid level door to large lounge with 2 sofas, (one a 4ft sofa bed) 2 armchairs and wall mounted flatscreen TV with DVD.  Stairs up to the modern kitchen with electric cooker, larder fridge and microwave.  Breakfast bar with seating for two.  Rear door with steps up to decking.  Cloakroom off kitchen with WC and hand basin.  From lounge steps down to double bedroom with 5ft double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.  En suite shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin, WC, heated towel rail and shaver light.  Door from bedroom to small courtyard. 

Outside: Rear decking with garden table and chairs with steps leading up to a terraced garden that overlooks the town and rooftops.  Lower front walled courtyard with table and chairs.

Please note that owing to the number of steep steps this cottage may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm.
