These two villages, scattered around the foreshore on either side of the beautiful Yealm estuary are the epitome of a Devon seaside destination, with colourful cottages, cosy traditional inns, a bustle of yachting and boating activity and just a stone's throw away from some of the most spectacular coastline in the south west. The Old Chapel has a contemporary open plan living area with vaulted ceilings, feature windows and oak flooring that combine to create a wonderfully relaxing area for guests to unwind. Downstairs, the three large bedrooms each have their own shower or bathroom facilities and a wide verandah, accessible through the display windows in the lounge is a perfect place to sit or dine al fresco in the summer evenings whilst watching the lazy activity on the water. Some of Devon's loveliest sandy beaches are a short distance away, the Dartmoor National Park can be reached in under half an hour and you are just a short drive from the border of the dramatic Celtic county of Cornwall.
