Kingston

Self catering holiday apartment

South Devon

This charming, very comfortable and completely private, spacious holiday accommodation is not overlooked, is part of the first floor of a lovely and very large secluded stone property and not far from the popular South Devon beaches of Bigbury on Sea and Bantham. Converted from 18th century period barns, Wastor Park is situated in a small hamlet set in beautiful, peaceful, informal grounds of 6 acres . It is a wonderful rural retreat for keen gardeners, walkers or indeed those who delight in totally unspoilt sandy beaches as Wonwell is just 1.5 miles away. The owners (a couple) reside in the remaining part of the house and respect the privacy of their guests. With its own access via steps up from the pretty courtyard to a private terrace, this delightful property has glorious views across the grounds and surrounding fields.

Accommodation:
Steps from drive way lead up to spacious south-west facing open plan room divided into sitting room, dining and kitchen areas, with sofa and chairs, TV, wood burning stove (use of by arrangement with owner), dining table and chairs. The kitchen area is well fitted with good quality white units, electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Bedroom with double 4ft 6in bed. Four steps up to large bathroom/dressing room with bath (no shower), basin and WC, built in cupboards.

Outside: Private terrace with garden table and chairs, two acres of delightful gardens with a very large pond, plus further ponds, numerous shrubs and flower borders. Further 4 acres informal grounds/meadowland. The gardens and grounds are shared with the owner and have many places to sit and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Included: Bed linen, towels, summer  electricity and central heating (oil) .
Electricity and central heating £15 between mid September and mid March.
