Winnowers is really special, a detached, recently converted stone barn set in large landscaped gardens and orchard overlooking peaceful countryside in the heart of the South Hams. The owners have gone to immense trouble to provide 'five star' accommodation for their guests with every comfort provided from a delicious welcome pack of homemade cake, milk, eggs, bread and wine, to the spoiling toiletries and fluffy towels in the bathrooms and beautiful crisp linen in the bedrooms. In a word the property is luxurious, a very exceptional place in a lovely situation and an easy drive to places of interest and the spectacular beaches of the south coast - absolutely ideal for families.

Accommodation:
Large glazed doors open to a hallway that extends into a most attractive, large open-plan and tiled living room. Two spectacular 8ft terracotta sofas provide very comfortable seating around an electric wood burner effect stove. There is stereo digital TV with DVD/VCR, CD player with radio and a large farmhouse table to seat 10. The kitchen area has fine quality fitted beech style units, is exceptionally well equipped with electric ceramic hob, integral electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Off the living room is a downstairs bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. (All bathrooms have heated towel rails.) Adjacent is a large family bedroom with TV and video, two single 3ft beds that can clip together to form a large double, a single futon chair-bed and attractive stained pine furniture. Stairs to the well-lit railed mezzanine landing. The master bedroom has pine furniture, TV and twin 3ft beds that clip together to form a large double, plus a single futon chair-bed. Very smart en-suite bathroom with double ended bath, hand-held shower attachment, basin and WC. The second bedroom has a 5ft double bed, TV and en-suite shower room with shower, basin and WC. Access from this bedroom to the fourth bedroom with 3ft bunk beds and a shower room with shower, basin and WC. Ideal for families. 

 Outside: A private drive passes the owners' farmhouse and sweeps round to the ample and enclosed, gravel parking area in front of the house. A lawn area is provided with table, chairs, parasol, barbecue and chimenea. Attractive seating overlooks the newly planted orchard to the fields and meadows beyond. Lockable wooden shed for storage. Doorstep walks.

Included: Bed linen, towels (not beach towels),  travel cot, high chair, stair gate, electricity and central heating (oil). (Under-floor heating downstairs, radiators upstairs.)
Pets: Well behaved pets very welcome by arrangement with neighbouring resident dogs, cats, horses, cows and chickens! Pet charge £25 per pet per week.
