This stunning Jacobean cottage in Noss Mayo, South Devon has been sympathetically extended and lovingly restored by the current owners to create a unique and charming waterside holiday home with the most amazing views of the estuary from most of the rooms and especially from its sunny decked balcony overlooking the water.  Steps from the cottage lead down to the estuary and the cottage's running mooring, so guests can bring their own boats of up to 15ft (or boats can be hired locally), giving them easy access to the lovely creeks and beaches in the area.  The interior is tastefully fitted out with oak and locally sourced timber and furnished in a relaxed style with a spacious living room and separate snug, allowing the noisier members of the party their own space. The lounge opens onto a small terrace which is ideal for that early morning cup of coffee whilst watching the bustling comings and goings down on the water. Noss Mayo looks over to Newton Ferrers on the opposite side of the creek and the two villages provide much to entertain the visitor, be it access to the water and a host of boating activities, coastal walks, traditional inns and restaurants or local shops.  Plymouth with its theatres, cinemas, restaurants and shopping centre is well worth a visit and Yew Tree Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to explore the lovely counties of Devon and neighbouring Cornwall.

Side door to steps leading down to waterside.  Snug with sofa, armchair and feature fireplace, woodburner stove and TV with Sky + and DVD.  Country style kitchen with views of the estuary and bespoke oak units, Rayburn stove, gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, microwave and door to the balcony. Feature wooden spiral staircase leads up to the landing and the bedrooms.  Spacious dual aspect master bedroom has a 5ft double bed and an en suite bath/wet room with stand alone bath, a rainfall shower, hand basin and WC. Bunk bedroom with two 3ft bunks, dressing table and wardrobe.  Second double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed and views of the estuary.  Family bath/shower room with stand alone bath, shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.  Twin bedroom with two 3ft beds and fitted wardrobes.
Outside: Wide decked balcony overlooking the water, furnished with garden table and chairs with an additional small patio area to side of cottage suitable as a barbecue area.  Small terrace off the lounge which catches the morning sun, furnished with small table and chairs.  Steps lead down to the waters edge and small private quay.  Please note that these steps are quite steep and supervision of children is recommended.
