Our very own Mr Toad, that adventurous yet dapper amphibian, is up to his old tricks this Easter with another one of his eggs-capades. He’s scaled dizzying clifftops, topped lofty granite tors, trekked down meadow lanes and through ancient woodlands to scatter his Easter eggs around all corners of the stunning South West. All you have to do is find them!

Let’s Get Cracking…
We begin our hunt for eggs in the New Forest, an ancient and leafy enclave full of tranquil glades and sun-dappled trails. It’s a truly serene corner of the UK and plays host to a long and impressive list of Toad Hall holiday cottages. Keep your eyes peeled and see if you can spot all of Mr Toad’s Easter eggs…
How’s your basket looking? Are you sure you don’t want to nip back to leafy Hampshire and have a recount? Well okay then, let’s press on to the wilds of Dartmoor, a vast sweep of Devonshire upland well known for its rugged tors, rushing rivers, wooded valleys and secluded retreats. How many eggs has that crafty Mr Toad hidden in the heathers and crags?
It’s time to add some more eggs to your basket. We’re leaving the Dartmoor hills and heading for the sparkling South Devon coast, renowned for its golden coves, sweeping bays and scintillating coastal paths. It’s here, along these scenic shores, that you’ll not only discover some of Toad Hall’s most desirable holiday cottages, but also Mr Toad’s next sneaky scattering of chocolate eggs…
I see your basket is filling up nicely! Next, we’re heading further down the coast into the ancient county of Cornwall, a place steeped in history, myth and legend and beloved for its magnificent beaches and dramatic coastline. We’ve followed Mr Toad down to the breathtaking south west coast, setting for Toad Hall’s latest ‘corking’ collection of holiday cottages. He’s been busy again, hiding his Easter eggs behind the rocky crannies and amongst the tufted grass…
It’s time to head towards our final location. We’re following the south west coast around the magnificent Cornish peninsula towards one of its most evocative settings. The castle ruins at Tintagel are cloaked in Arthurian legend, with breathtaking views at every turn. From Merlin’s Cave to Dark Age settlements, this historic stretch of headland will have the whole family captivated for hours on end, the question is…can you gather up all of Mr Toad’s eggs hidden around these hallowed grounds and tally up your total?
