For the third year running we found ourselves among the finalists of The British Travel Awards last night, at a glitzy gala do in London. In the running for the UK’s best self-catering holiday booking company (a title as difficult to say as it is to win), this year we were put in the ‘medium’ size bracket meaning we faced competition from some of the biggest and most established names in the industry.
As the largest awards programme in the UK, this year the BTAs received over 1.2 million votes making it the best accolade to receive in British travel. Having won the ‘small’ category in 2013 and come a close second in 2014, we were keen to make amends this year and were quite rightly thrilled to find out we had won!
James Norton, our Marketing Manager, said “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award, especially as we were up against some much, much larger agencies across the UK. Our second winner’s award in three years, with a runner-up in between, is a real testament to our team who always go out of their way to make every guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible. I’m delighted that the hard work has paid off and the award will help cement our reputation as the area’s largest and best agency.”
With another award in the bag, we’re gearing up for more big improvements in 2016 to ensure we continue to exceed our guests expectations.
