Totnes: The Noisettes to Headline ‘Party in the Town’, Friday 28th April 2017

It’s a celebration of talent in Totnes and the surrounding area, and is bringing more than 50 local bands and artists to the town.

Party in the Town returns for 2017 with an exciting line up of musical acts including; folk singers, jazz and chamber ensembles, choirs, street performers, rock bands, electronica, walkabout poetry, and art.

This year’s headline act will be The Noisettes who will be performing at the Civic Hall with their own stomping blend of electro-rock and galloping funk grooves, led by the ever-soulful and silken-throated Shingai Shoniwa.

They will be supported by Long for The Coast; an acoustic folk band with sincere lyrics and beautiful harmonies.

Activities start from 2pm with a singing class for under 5s, plus craft workshops and things to look out for on the High Street all afternoon.

All events are FREE to enter, except for the headline act at the Civic Hall where doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets available from the Party in the Town website or by calling the Box Office: 01803 847080.
