Queen's Arms food and very friendly staff; like a big family! A truly wonderful week! We miss it all now... Start Point Lighthouse area. Circular walk from East Prawle and Piglet Cafe'

November 2018

Fantastic holiday, will definitely be visiting again next year.

October 2018

We enjoyed our stay a lot, the cottage was wonderful, very comfy, however parking was quite a distance from the cottage, as it was bussy in Slapton in half term.

October 2018

Lovely cottage, very well eqipped

September 2018

Enjoyed stay lovely little cottage. Roads through Slapton were very busy due to road closures

July 2018

We found the cottage & village was wonderful along with the weather you couldn't wish for more from a holiday.

July 2018

I have to admit that I didn’t do my pre-holiday research very well and thought that Slapton was the village by the beach at Slapton Sands. Of course, I now know that this is actually Torcross! Having said that, we had a wonderful stay and got quite fit walking to and from the car park ravaged day!

June 2018

The cottage was clean and tidy and well laid out. Had lovely week.

May 2018

REally enjoyed the staff and facilities at cottage were just as required but did wonder why no microwave?

October 2017

We received a nice welcome pack on our arrival to set us up for our weeks break. We were lucky with the weather and thoroughly enjoyed a week of walking and pub visits in the Slapton area. We got back late afternoon most days so were able to find parking nearby to the cottage, perhaps a local landowner needs to open up a field in the village for parking at a nominal fee !

July 2017

Had an brilliant week; the cottage was excellent, extremely comfortable for a family of 3, very clean and welcoming.

July 2017

I enjoyed my stay and found the cottage lovely and cool in the hot weather I was lucky to have.

April 2017

Nice cottage, great for two adults and two young children (ours are 10 and 6). Clean and nice decor. In our opinion the kitchen could be better equipped, i.e. Only four plates, dishes etc and could do with a washing line or airer to hang wet towels and swimwear. Good location, with a play park and two decent pubs all within walking distance!

Thank you for your feedback, this will be passed to the owner. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay in this lovely cottage. Many Thanks The Toad Hall Team.
