It has incredible far reaching views down the estuary towards Salcombe from the living room, kitchen and both bedrooms. The two balconies at the property will ensure guests can take full advantage of the unrivalled views this apartment has to offer. Both stylish and contemporary, this property is equipped and furnished to the highest standard and the extra little touches such as the telescope, bird watching guides and Sky TV will not go unnoticed.
The Moorings is an impressive development situated on the water’s edge of the beautiful Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary and occupies probably the best situation in Kingsbridge. Set in attractive, shared, landscaped and enclosed gardens alongside the estuary, with occasional seating, although not suitable for children’s games, they provide an idyllic spot to appreciate the views. All the apartments enjoy these superb views from most of their rooms, balconies and/or terraces with vistas down towards Salcombe, across to the wooded banks and meadows on the opposite side and upstream to the town itself. The town, a short walk, approximately one third of a mile on the level along the embankment, has a wide range of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs, two major supermarkets and a fine leisure centre. Electric gates secure the entrance to The Moorings and there are designated parking spaces for each apartment and further visitor parking. Good sandy beaches within 5 miles.

We had a lovely time and loved the location . There were a good choice of restaurants and Kingsbridge town is very easy to walk to. A brilliant place to stay.
Wonderful. Fantastic views and so convenient. Clean and well equipped
A perfect, spacious and well equipped, very comfortable apartment with beautiful views of the Estuary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love to return.
Great location, lovely apartment, will book again thank you
very good all round, would have probably booked for same week in 2019, but your staff told me the week was booked?? Ron.
We had a wonderful holiday in a beautiful location in a superb property. Can't say more.
A fantastic apartment
We love the location and convenience of the apartment and Kingsbridge itself, which has some nice shops, restaurants, a farmers' market and Coasters coffee shop. The walk into town along the quayside is a little tricky in parts before you reach the promenade and you need to be steady on your feet.
It is a lovely apartment in a fantastic position with beautiful views of the creek.
As always we had a wonderful time, we have always been very happy with Toadhall.
Lovely view. Comfortable. Tv hard to hear the words.
We are pleased to hear you had an enjoyable stay at 28 The Moorings and thank you for letting us know you experienced a problem with the TV – we have reported this to the owner who will investigate.

Lovely apartment in an incredible location with stunning views Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else
Stunning location. Very relaxing.
Yes. We always do!
We were all very impressed with 28 The Moorings and also very impressed that Toad Hall took the time and effort to let us know about the road close just outside Kingsbridge. Thank you.
We have returned several times to this property for it's beautiful views of the Estuary and it's light airy feel with plenty of space and walk-in shower for my disabled husband. We love it. Still would like the owner to replace the balcony furniture.
We enjoyed our stay and loved the views from this flat, which was the sole reason for booking it (as well as easy access via the lift for my elderly mother). It was great that we could change the very heavy duvets to summer ones, otherwise we might have sweltered despite the somewhat inclement weather, and the kitchen was well equipped overall! The flat is well positioned for the town and journeys out and about, and it was nice to have a peaceful haven to return to after negotiating the narrow lanes that Devon is renowned for!
We have enjoyed our stay. In fact, the two weeks we booked proved to be far too short. Next time (if we have the money) we will certainly book 28 The Moorings again. The view from the apartment windows is excellent and watching the tide changing was an absolute joy. Still, we think the price is a bit too high. And we would prefer it a Saturday booking. Is that possible? Just a minor point: since there are no blinds, the sunlight can at times be very "blinding". Especially when you try watching television by daylight.
This was a lovely apartment, well situated and well equipped. Other than the things mentioned above, we thought the apartment excellent and good value for money.
We had a great time, obviously the fantastic weather helped! The apartment was absolutely first class.
This was the best property we have stayed in compared to all the other properties we have booked through Toad hall cottages. The facilities were outstanding, the welcome goodies a very nice touch and information pack clear and concise, mixed with a bit of humour! We definitely look forward to staying in this apartment again in the near future. A huge thanks to the the owners of the property, their caretakers and cleaning employees and to the staff at Toad Hall Cottages. Kindest regards Deborah Larnder
The apartment was absolutely first class. Very clean & comfortable, with wonderful views of the estuary. We were impressed that binoculars & a telescope (bit of a wobbly tripod) were provided. Kingsbridge is well located for short coastal trips to the East, West & South of the area. Although the small town does not have a large choice of places to eat the ones we used were very good (Creeks End, Seven Stars, La Famiglia) & the butchers & bakers provided a good selection. A very enjoyable holiday.
Superb accommodation, and the description is spot on. Tranquility with mod-cons. We did not want to leave.
A very relaxed holiday, spotless apartment and the walk-in shower made life easy for my disabled husband. I appreciated the simple appliances and TV which I could work without wasting my holiday reading instruction books!
The office staff were extremely helpful. When we found out that a property we loved to stay in was no longer available we went into the office. We were given a couple of suggestions of similar properties that had recently come onto the books which resulted in us staying in the above property. Very friendly. Will definitely book with Toad Hall again!
We enjoyed the holiday. It was suitable for disabled use . The shower & lift we're very good & as stated in the brochure
