Set in an elevated position on the bustling Island Street near to Batson Creek and its slipways, this good value for money terraced cottage is located just a short walk from the centre and waterfront of Salcombe. The charming old fashioned cottage is basic but comfortable and set in an ideal location for a holiday near the sea. The property has the added advantage of garage parking directly below the property, a real rarity in the centre of Salcombe.

Two flights of stone steps (quite steep) leading up to property and door into hallwayCloakroom with WC and hand basin. Living room with two sofas, TV with DVD and Freeview and dining area with table and chairs to seat 6. Small but functional kitchen with gas cooker and hatch to dining area. Fridge and microwave located in recess in hallway. Stairs to first floor. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed, chest of drawers, curtained hanging space and hand basin. Single room with 2ft 6in bed, curtained hanging space and chest of drawers. Bunk bedroom arranged with 3ft bunk beds, wardrobe and hand basin. Family bathroom with electric shower over bath, hand basin and WC. Small outside utility room (off rear courtyard) with washing machine.

Front patio with table and chairs. Small courtyard to the rear, also with table and chairs.

Garage for one or two cars depending on size (garage door width 3.95m). Height clearance approx 2m.

Had a super week loved being right in the heart of Salcomebe the cottage was a little dated but comfortable and as it was on offer at the time so very reasonably priced.

Enjoyed holiday. Cottage bright and airy and felt warm despite the wind and rain we had while there . Maybe a couple more pictures required down in lounge as best pictures were upstairs! Very good value given the close proximity to the main town and harbour area. Garage an absolute bonus. Had to report small water leak mid week and was dealt with same day.
