5 The Moorings is an exceptionally stylish and luxurious property on the waterside in the charming market town of Kingsbridge in South Devon. The accommodation has been finished to an extremely high specification throughout with the open plan living space being the focal point, complete with a new kitchen with fully integrated appliances throughout (including a wine/beer cooler)! The apartment also benefits from its own private entrance, designated parking and delightful views of the Kingsbridge estuary and a balcony.

The Moorings is an impressive development situated on the water's edge of the beautiful Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary and occupies probably the best situation in Kingsbridge. Set in attractive, shared, landscaped and enclosed gardens alongside the estuary, with occasional seating, although not suitable for children's games, they provide an idyllic spot to appreciate the views. All the apartments enjoy these superb views from most of their rooms, balconies and/or terraces with vistas down towards Salcombe, across to the wooded banks and meadows on the opposite side and upstream to the town itself. The town, a short walk, approximately one third of a mile on the level along the embankment, has a wide range of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs, two supermarkets and a fine leisure centre. Electric gates secure the entrance to The Moorings and there are designated parking spaces for each apartment and further visitor parking. The famous beaches of the South Hams can be found just 5 miles away.

Open plan living space with triple glazed windows enjoying views of the estuary and access to balcony also with glorious estuary views. Dining area with table and seating for 6. Kitchen area with fully integrated appliances throughout including electric hob, eye level electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and even a drinks cooler. Lounge area with ‘L’ shape sofa complete with 2 reclining sections, a further reclining chair and a small swivel chair, Smart TV with DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, and access to balcony.   Master Bedroom with 5ft king-size bed and beautiful estuary views, en-suite with walk in shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 with 4ft 6 double bed. Bedroom 3 with unique 3ft bunk beds. Family bathroom with WC, basin, bath with shower over, basin and WC.

A balcony with estuary views can be accessed from the open plan living space.

Our stay at the Moorings was excellent. Location of the apartment ideal for views of the river and close proximity to town centre for shops and restaurants. Would recommend this property.
