5 Victoria Place is a newly, lovingly refurbished 19th century fisherman's cottage on the waterfront in the centre of Salcombe, South Devon. It is ideally placed to take advantage of the bustling seaside town, stunning harbour surrounded by wonderful sandy beaches and breathtaking coastal walks. Situated in one of Salcombe's most popular areas, this charming and thoughtfully restored cottage is the perfect place for your Salcombe getaway whether you’re a couple, group or family. A moment's walk will take you to either Fore Street or Island Street which are both bursting with shops, restaurants, art galleries and inns. It is also just a short trip on foot or by the nearby passenger ferry to the stunning sandy beaches of North and South Sands, Smalls Cove, Mill Bay and Sunny Cove. In the evenings you can enjoy an al fresco meal and glass of wine on the private patio overlooking the estuary, or go crabbing over the wall of the public walkway at the front of the cottages.

Entrance to living room with 4 seater sofa, 2 armchairs, footstool, log burner, TV with freeview, DVD player and radio/ipod dock. Kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dining table to seat 6. Rear lobby with place to hang coats, leading to bunk room with 3ft built in single beds. En suite with shower, WC and basin. Washing machine and tumble dryer. Stairs up to first floor master bedroom with 5ft king size bed and stunning views of the estuary. Twin bedroom with 3ft single beds. Family bathroom with roll top bath with shower over, WC and basin.

Enclosed patio with stunning waterside views. Table and chairs and additional bench with table. Storage cupboard and barbecue. 

Patio fully enclosed for dogs. 

One parking permit left in cottage for guests.

Depending on the time of year park in either Shadycombe car park (350 yards away) on Shadycombe road (if between Oct 1st - March 31st) or Creek car park (500 yards away) on Gould road (if between April 1st - Sept 30th).

We arrived in the depths of December, tired and cross, to find a delightful cosy cottage right in the heart of Salcombe. Would jump at the chance to stay here again - at any time of year.

We had a delightful holiday in this charming cottage. It was picture postcard perfect with tasteful decoration and lovely artwork. Every where was well designed, comfortable and to a very good standard. We are hoping to return next year thanks.

We had a wonderful time and loved the little blue house. The welcoming touches such as fresh flowers were lovely. The cottage was really comfortable, beautifully furnished with fabulous art work and we had all the comforts of home. We'd love to return!

We arrived early and the cottage had been left in a state by the previous occupiers (should be some recourse when people do that ?) The ladies from Pebbles were really up against it to have the cottage clean and tidy by 4 pm - we felt very sorry for them However they did an excellent job (we don't know their names but the older lady came from Whitby and the young girl from Torquay) and we would like to commend them to Pebbles and know they have been told! We left the cottage in immaculate form (we are very tidy people) Toad Hall have been very good throughout and I would commend you highly

Although there was a welcome pack of scones and jam, which was very nice, there wasn't any cleaning products except floor cleaner, no dishcloth, no washing up liquid. Also no bin bag in the kitchen (although it said in the information booklet there was some in the cupboard, there wasn't any anywhere). We had to buy some! Also no toilet roll (although I always take some with me) I haven't stayed anywhere where there's not even been part of a roll and only one hand towel in the main bathroom between four people! I was quite disappointed have always been pleased at other properties of yours.

Many thanks for your very useful feedback. We are sorry that the property did not have sufficient cleaning equipment or hand towels. These should of course have been provided and we will look into why they were not. We always ask that guests call us if there are any issues at all with the property. In this case we could have called the cleaning company who could have put the issues right immediately.
