Bank Voles Nest is a delightful well equipped semi-detatched bungalow set in an exclusive small complex of 12 similar privately owned properties, all enjoying the well maintained grounds, the enclosed heated swimming pool and the pleasant patio/seating areas immediately outside the property.  This hidden collection of cottages is ideally situated just 2.5 miles from the vibrant fascinating fishing village of Polperro, and the lively harbour town of Looe with its sandy beach and bustling streets. Talland Bay is only 1.3 miles away, a 30 minute walk, most areas are accessible by bus if you wish, wich you can hop on at the end of the drive. A wonderful property to either sit by the pool and thoroughly relax, or to venture out and explore Cornwall's delights, then return to this welcoming tranquil Granite Henge retreat.

Please Note: NO children are permitted on site under the age of 2, all 2 to 4.5 year olds must be supervised on site, but are not permitted in the pool.

Open Planned living/dining/kitchen.  Lounge with large sofa and ‘lazy boy’ arm chair, flat screen TV, DVD and mini radio. WiFi/internet.  Dining area with round table and seating for 4. Fully equipped Kitchen with electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge and small freezer compartment, washing machine.    Master double Bedroom 1 with king size 5 ft bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, flat screen TV.  Twin Bedroom 2 with two 3ft single beds, chest of draws, wardrobe.  Shower room with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, wash hand basin and WC.

Super heated communal enclosed swimming pool open from May to the end of September. Please note: only children over the age of 4.5 years old are allowed in the pool area,  and they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Communal maintained grounds with seating and BBQ areas.

Private parking for one car (plus extra space for visiting car on request)

Included:  Bed linen, towels (no beach towels provided so guest are asked to bring their own please).    Iron and Ironing board provided. Hair dryer at property.

Local Facilities: Shops post office and pub (The Jubilee Inn)  at Pelynt, approx. 5 minutes’ drive.  Numerous restaurants, pubs and cafe’s in Looe and Polperro only 2.5 miles in each direction.  Beach at Talland Bay 1.3 miles, East Looe Beach approx. 2.7 miles.  Plymouth 20 miles. Eden Project approx. 20 miles. The Lost Gardens of Heligan approx. 50 mins. drive.  Bodmin Moor 30 mins. drive. And so much more...

The electric was via a meter which swallowed £1coins like they were goining out of fashion costing a extra £25 to £30.

Yes, at this holiday home electricity is an additional expense, although the weekly price is slightly lower to reflect that and obviously it will be more in the colder months, but we are talking to the owner about changing to a normal electricity meter as soon as possible.
