Quietly tucked away in the heart of Lyme Regis, Jasper is a two bedroom holiday property offering comfortable and well equipped accommodation for couples or smaller families. Located just behind the main shopping street in the heart of this unspoilt Dorset seaside town, this is the perfect choice for those seeking a seaside apartment with all the amenities of this attractive town right on the doorstep. The seafront promenade, shops, restaurants, pubs and gardens are all just a stone's throw from the property. Jasper has been recently refurbished and benefits from a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom. The open plan living area, with large flat screen TV, enjoys some pleasant views across the town with glimpses to the sea. There is allocated off road parking for one car (see details below) and wifi access is included.
As well as a sandy beach and seafront promenade, Lyme Regis includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. Lyme Regis is a wonderful location for those looking for a traditional seaside break. There are a wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award winning museum, and a small theatre. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliffe between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. For those planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town.
Self-contained apartment - second floor (access via a flight of internal steps from the parking area): Entrance hallway with space for coats and boots. Stairs to hallway leading to open plan living room with easy seating and large flat screen TV/DVD & iPod dock, dining table and kitchenwith gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Bedroom with double bed. Bathroom with bath, shower over bath, WC and utility cupboard with washer/dryer. A few steps up to: Bedroom 2 with king size 5ft bed and TV.
There is an allocated off road parking space for one car - please note access to the parking area is through a narrow archway from the main shopping street, approximately 1.9m wide at the narrowest point (may not be suitable for some cars). If required, the owners can offer an alternative parking space about 6 to 7 minutes walk from the apartment or there is plentiful safe public parking within a few minutes walk of the property.

Had a great week at Jasper. This apartment is very light and spacious and ideally located with everything you need close to hand. Had a slight issue with a leaking kettle, but advised owners on day of departure so that it could be dealt with. Property very quiet; seagulls very noisy at dawn!!!! Great food and friendly staff at the Bell Cliff restaurant.
The arch to access the parking bay is challenging as the scar on my front bumper proves. However the alternative parking on offer was very acceptable.
Loved our stay, just wish I had a smaller car to fit through the archway but having an alternative parking space was great. Also great to be able to walk straight onto the high street and to the sea in minutes!
We had a very enjoyable week at Jasper, only spoiled by the very noisy, very active at night, seagulls - they're evil!! :)
Enjoyed our stay very much however we were disturbed on a couple of evenings by people in apartments chatting outside and loud music - usually ended by midnight but nearer 1am on Saturday night. Also late night use of washing machine in one of adjacent properties on one occasion was rather intrusive. These issues did not spoil our stay - the flat was otherwise excellent, but thought you'd want to be aware of these concerns for future guests.

The apartment is ideally located in the centre of Lyme Regis, was spotless and well equipped for self catering. Being able to independently operate the central heating without restrictions was a plus as it was chilly when we stayed in the last week of November. Do take note of the instructions regarding the car park - the entrance is very narrow, we couldn't get our car in but it wasn't a problem at all as there are plenty of car parks close by or free on-street parking within a 7 minute walk. It was very easy to contact Taina and she responded immediately when we needed her assistance with a small matter. We enjoyed our visit so much that we will be returning with friends to spend New Year in Lyme Regis!
Our stay was excellent. Centrally located within Lyme Regis and with views of the sea and coast from the window, Jasper is a superb holiday apartment. The only gripe is the narrowness of the entry for cars - but in your defence you warn about that in the description and give alternative parking arrangements if required. Well done and keep up the good work!

Jasper is the most perfect flat in the most perfect position. An abundance of towels with fresh flowers and milk on arrival for a warm welcome. Spotlesly clean and extremely well equipped. Jasper is like a home from home and after a busy day of exploring beautiful Lyme Regis it was always lovely to come 'home' to. Would definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful week at Lyme Regis and Jasper cottage and would recommend both to anyone. Very reasonable price for such a good location.

Sofas were different to those on the photo. No problem as they were very comfy, just not what we were expecting. Nice thick and fluffy towels. Bed very comfy and bedding of good quality. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. Lovely and clean when we arrived. Apartment was very well situated with beach on the doorstep and shops nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I stayed in the Jasper cottage in downtown Lyme Regis for six nights recently. The location can absolutely not be beat. It's a perfect stroll to anywhere in Lyme Regis (post office, grocery store, restaurants are right outside your door) and provides great access to the beaches. The owner was great at communicating and very helpful. The flat is charming, two bedrooms, lots of privacy, very clean. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. It is stocked with all the amenities a person could use. The only suggestion I made to the owner was to have some good directions on how to use the washer/dryer. That combination is always a mystery to me anytime I've stayed in England! I look forward to staying in this property next time I return to lime Regis. Highly recommend!
