Signal for BBC was a bit hit and miss but didn't mind at all. Couldn't get WiFi at all. Not really complaining .
There weren't any issues. The cottage was lovely and well equip't. We will definitely book this cottage again if it's available next time we take a break in Noss Mayo.

Thank you - we are very pleased to give you feedback on our recent holiday at Anchor Cottage. We found the property very clean and well presented on arrival. There were clean fluffy towels in all the rooms, lovely bed linen and a 'freshly decorated' feel to the whole house. The kitchen was very well equipped, with enough pots, pans and cooking utensils to knock up a few tasty dinners during the week. A couple of updates are needed to the listing: There is a washer / dryer in the utility room (I think that only a washing machine is listed) and we located a hairdryer in one of the bedrooms (a welcome addition that was also not included on the advert). There are only a couple of minor negative comments: the WiFi service was intermittent at best and non-existent at worse (although we were told that this is an issue that affects the whole area) and the TV signal was also intermittent, possibly the type of internal TV aerial? That being said, when we had any questions or minor issues the response from the Housekeeper and owner was swift and very efficient. All in all we had a fantastic break in a stunning location, at an excellent property. Thank you.
Anchor Cottage in Noss Mayo was excellent, a modern, clean well equipped property with lovely views down Newton Creek.
Lovely cottage. Clean, tastefully furnished
Anchor Cottage was in an idillic spot. The property was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. One of the best holiday lets we have stayed in.
Stunning cottage in a beautiful location. Plenty of nice walks with the coast nearby. Salcombe worth a visit only 20 mins drive away. Nearby pubs sell great food. The real deal - would definitely go again.
Beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. Plenty of pubs and walking routes. 10 out of 10!
Lovely, relaxing break at Anchor Cottage. The house is beautiful and really well furnished, with everything which you would require. Great location for trips out and walking from the house. Would hugely recommend it, and would definitely visit again.
Had the most brilliant New Years Eve with friends at the cottage. It has been furnished beautifully, the beds are incredibly comfortable, it is very clean and in a brilliant location. We couldn't fault anything about it. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more. There are great pubs within walking distance and very friendly locals. It was lovely in winter so I imagine its fantastic over the summer. We will definitely be back, thank you.
We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in Anchor Cottage. The property was spotlessly clean
having spent 2 weeks assisting with the refurnishing of the cottage, I must say the cottage looks fantastic. The location is beautiful, and so relaxing with so many friendly people. Looking forward to returning to the area. With new owners of the Dolphin the food and welcome you receive are something you will find hard to beat. Thank you for a wonderful break.
A really lovely location overlooking the Yealm River. My grandchildren loved crabbing which they did every day. Good beaches at Mothecombe and Stoke. Great food at the Ship Inn. The house has been refurnished so really much nicer than last year. Perhaps you should mention that there really is no mobile connection at the house - you have to go to the top of the surrounding hills for that.
This was our first experience/holiday with Toad Hall Cottages. Very impressed with property chosen. I was apprehensive before I went as I have experienced poor quality accommodation before with other online sites. As long as other properties with Toad Hall are as good as Anchor Cottage would definitely book again. Thanks for a memorable holiday set in a fabulous location.
A lovely home which has tremendous character. Loved sitting on the balcony when the sun came around after lunch.
Great house, wonderful views and walks. A lovely place to celebrate a 'special' birthday with friends.
What a wonderful home, such a beautiful place. Best equipped cottage we have stayed in. Lovely location, especially enjoyed the Ship Inn and Wembury is beautiful.
