Situated on a hillside overlooking glorious East Devon countryside, the impressive rural setting of Badger Glory needs to be seen to be appreciated. Located just outside the small historic town of Colyton and only a couple of miles from the seaside town of Seaton this attractive holiday bolt hole provides a peaceful setting from which to explore this beautiful part of the country. This spacious and comfortable one bedroom property, with magnificent south-facing countryside views has a comfortable, light and airy oak-beamed lounge and is the ideal choice for couples or a small family as there is space for an additional single bed in the bedroom or lounge. There is a private, secluded garden area with furniture as well as access to a 1.5 acre field, shared with the adjoining holiday property, HEDGEF. The property is ideally located as a base for walking and for exploring the stunning Jurassic coast and surrounding countryside and the friendly and welcoming owners, who live next door, are on hand to ensure that you have a comfortable stay.
Annex/apartment on one level. Sloping pathway to entrance at first floor level: Lounge/dining room with two seater sofa and armchairs, Freeview TV, DVD and video. Dining area with table and 4 chairs. Door to patio and garden. Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and CD/radio. Bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed. Shower room with shower cubicle and WC.
Private patio and garden with barbeque and furniture. Further access to a shared 1.5 acre field for ball games etc.
Designated off road parking for one car.
- Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must bring their own beach towels), central heating (1st October to 30th April), Wi-Fi access available. Additional Z bed, cot and high chair available (please request at time of booking). Babysitting can be arranged via the owner.
- Pets: Two well behaved dogs welcome in public areas of property only (not bedrooms). Pet Charge: £30.00 per pet per week. Please note: there are sheep in the adjoining field.
- Local Facilities: Shops and pubs in Colyton 1 mile. Beach: Seaton 3 miles Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage HQ, shop and canteen are only a few minutes drive away in the market town of Axminster, also with most facilities. Lyme Regis 7 miles. Sidmouth 8 miles.

A lovely peaceful and quiet property that is within a short driving distance of the sea and of local shopping facilities. Tucked away in wonderful rolling countryside, always a pleasure to stay there.
This is a lovely cottage in a stunning area with the most beautiful views. I would thoroughly recommend this property ! It has it's own private little garden too which is a bonus if you are taking dogs !
We very much enjoyed our stay , nicely situated for visiting many areas by car , and always help from the proprietor if needed . Lovely large living area , and very comfy large bed also handy access for the dogs to go out in the plenty sized garden .
The owners are a very charming couple, cheerful and helpful, doing their utmost to help. They're probably the best owners that we've encountered! There's a wonderful view from the living room, with two large windows overlooking fields and woods, with the sea beyond. Pheasants, roe deer and foxes were seen daily from the window. A relaxing atmosphere.
The property was very spacious and had everything you need (although it would have been thoughtful to have provided us with a couple of dishwasher tablets and an oven glove which were the only things that were missing really). The secure garden was perfect for our two dogs as was the huge field we had the run of. We are seasoned dog friendly cottage goers and this property and location were one of the best that we have been to. Thank you to Glenda and Dougie who were welcoming and friendly yet unobtrusive. Would highly recommend this property.
