Banjo Cottage is a charming and delightfully comfortable 18th century listed stone barn/work shop conversion, set in a convenient position within the heart of bustling East Looe, with its vibrant shops, fine restaurants and wonderful sandy beach only a few minutes’ walk away. The owners of this beautifully refurbished 3-storey cottage have created a welcoming relaxing retreat, with modern en-suites to each bedroom, making it a perfect haven for your Cornish holiday.  For the walkers amongst you, the South West Coastal Path runs directly past the upper entrance to the cottage, which offers stunning coastal views.  For those who wish to venture further afield, boat trips to nearby Looe Island (also known as St George's Island, and historically St Michael's Island) - a haven for grey seals and herring gulls - or to neighbouring quaint harbour towns and villages can readily be arranged from Looe harbourside. Sea fishing trips can also be taken and freshly caught fish can be purchased on the quay. The Eden Project is approximately 40 minutes’ drive away, and numerous other Cornish wonders can easily be discovered by car or train, there is something to suit everyone.  Alternatively - you could just enjoy relaxing at this captivating cottage, taking advantage of the south facing 'sun trap' balcony with fabulous views of the famed Banjo Pier and out to sea.

Door leading to balcony with table and chairs. Flight of stairs leads down to first floor landing leading to Bedroom 1; 4ft 6in double bed and 3ft single bed, with door to en-suite bathroom; Bath with hand held shower, WC and wash hand basin.Bedroom 2; two 3ft single beds with door leading to en-suite shower room; shower cubicle with WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Stairs leading down to lower entrance lobby on ground/lower street level, with plenty of storage space..

Tiny cobbled parking area available alongside the cottage for a very small car, (a 'Mini One' just fits).

Public parking available in local car parks in East and West Looe (fees apply).

Our third visit. We have stayed in a number of cottages in Looe and this is our favourite.

Good location, decent size, bit strange a double and a single in one room and two singles in the other, but perfectly livable for a week. Convenient for all amenities but just away enough for peace and quiet.

Had a fantastic week think this may have been the best Looe property we've stayed in. The balcony was fantastic even sat out in the rain loved it so much!!!

The property stands in a great position for access to the Central area of Looe.A steep climb but of short distance. The approach Roads are very narrow albeit not a problem for confident drivers. The bath in the double room could be hazardous for the elderly or infirm but the shower in the twin room is fine so no issue really.All in all, a great location and excellent accommodation .
