Bayview, a perfect base for a seaside holiday, is a very well equipped, practical family home in a fantastic location and benefits from a large, private garden that can easily entertain the children for hours, so the parents can enjoy sipping wine and relaxing in front of the views when they have tired of the outdoors.

We really enjoyed our week at Bayview. However , there was only 2 of us, so we certainly didn't have any issues with space but I'm not sure that I would have been as happy if there had been more of us, as there was no storage or hanging space in the 1st floor double bedroom and only a chest of drawers in the room with 4 bunk beds. We would however be happy to return ( but not with a bigger group!) as we thought the location and standard of furnishings and equipment were excellent.
Delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Like many holiday cottages they can be some aspects which are not ideal and we accept that there isn't masses of storage space in Bayview. However, as most guests only stay for the week they appear to get by and hopefully the location and high standard of equipment make up for this small inconvenience.

We had a lovely stay. Accessibility is a bit tricky as v narrow lane but wonderful view when you get there! Location good if you don't mind being remote.
Bayview was outstanding and so well equipped, they thought of everything! If I were to pick a fault and I am being very picky here, was that there was nowhere to hang clothes in two of the bedrooms. We had the time of our lives and loved every minute, I will really miss waking up to THAT view every morning.
Our holiday at Bay View was fantastic, we were blessed with amazing weather and the views from every window were truly stunning as our garden led on to the South West Coastal Path facing the sea and looking towards Start Point lighthouse. The cottage was on 3 floors and was exremely well equipped with so many extras such as binoculars on most windowsills, tubs of children's toys, basic medicines, numerous DVD's and paperbacks. We enjoyed 6 out of 7 breakfasts on the patio overlooking the sea and scenic countryside. We would love to return!
The property is practically perfect in every way. Amazing location with quick and easy access to the fabulous beach. Lovely having the fascinating lighthouse in full view. Great walks from the house, we hardly used our car all week. We even managed to do an Internet grocery shop (Tesco) timed perfectly with our arrival! The house is well equipped with a workable kitchen and huge living space. Al Fresco eating possible on the front patio and rear garden in suitable weather. The main living area is huge with comfortable seating and a huge table. The main bedroom in the attic is beautiful and huge. Both bathrooms are on the middle floor and this involves coming down a steep staircase during the night to go to the loo which may be a disadvantage to some. The second bedroom is very cramped and there is little room around the bed, and very limited space for clothes storage. There is only one underbed drawer which was only really big enough to put shoes on. We had to store all our clothes on some of the spare bunkbeds in the childrens bedroom which was a little tricky at times and would have been difficult if there had been 4 children ( we only had one). Having said that, apart from the second bedroom the property was a favourite for us. The location and the downstairs living space being the major draws!
A fantastic location on the clifftop with views right across Start Bay. A well equipped comfortable cottage with lots to do and places to go right on the doorstep. Walks, boat trips and paddling in our kayak. Comfortably accommodated the five of us but would feel somewhat cramped if the full eight bed capacity was used.
Bayview is a gorgeous place to stay and will most certainly be back, although it has been booked for the week we wanted next year already :(
Thank you very much, we had a wonderful stay at Bayview, the views were spectacular and the situation fabulous, the bed was extremely comfortable and the cottage had everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday, with classy decor, fabulous walking on the doorstep, and a beach 2 min walk away, also in between Dartmouth and Salcombe so lots of lovely places to visit nearby, wish we could of stayed longer.
The cottage was very well equipped and presented. Fabulous sea views to enjoy - only downside is the narrow roads! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in booking with you again.
The house was much better than expected and very well equiped with everything we needed. The location was even better than the photos showed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Bayview. It is an outstanding location and the cottage provided for all our needs during our stay. Although slightly off the beaten track local facilities (shops, farm shop, pubs etc) were no more than 10/15 minutes away by car. We have put Bayview on our 'return visit' list!
Our second visit to Bayview this year. A fantastic location and property. Very well furnished and equipped, we love the attic conversion with views of the sea from our bed! Our dogs love the walks, literally on the doorstep. A minor issue with keys on our arrival was quickly resolved by Toad Hall and the caretaker.
Excellent coastal property, one of the cleanest holiday cottages I have stayed in. It has everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Amazing walks from right outside the door. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away. The views are fabulous. This really is the place to stay if you want a quiet, peaceful, get away from it all type of holiday.
