Description

Beachcomber is a wonderful holiday property, situated in an elevated position, just a short walk from the sea.  All on one level this ground floor apartment has been recently furnished and re-decorated to provide everything required for a really comfortable and relaxing seaside holiday and provides very attractive and well equipped accommodation for families or couples seeking a seaside retreat.  Patio doors from the bright and airy living area open out onto a garden terrace with furniture. Stunning views of the sea, village and surrounding countryside.

Located in the heart of this lovely West Dorset seaside village, and famously featured in the television series Broadchurch.  Charmouth has a small selection of shops and a post office as well as pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre on the seafront provides a wealth of information about local geology, rock pooling and fossil collecting. There is also a large park, with a well-equipped children's playground nearby. A great location for walkers; the South West Coast footpath and a network of inland footpaths allow visitors to explore the stunning West Dorset coast and countryside. There are also regular bus routes running through the village along the Jurassic coast and it's only a five minute drive to the historic seaside town of Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb Harbour.

Front entrance into Conservatory with seating area and two chairs.  The sun room discreetly houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.  This leads to the kitchen, with its dining area, and is fully equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave.  The Lounge has two comfortable sofas and a Flatscreen TV with patio sliding doors and views of the sea and surrounding countryside.  Hallway to Bedroom 1 equipped with a King size bed and sea views.  Bedroom 2 has twin 3ft beds and views of the sea.  At the end of the Hallway is the Shower Room, which is fitted with a wash-hand basin and a WC.

Large patio area with outdoor seating, dining table and parasol.  Steps down into the the lawned garden.   The conservatory furniture can also be used on the patio in front of sliding doors theat lead to the lounge.  Outstanding views of the Jurassic Coastline.

Parking for one car on the private driveway and an additional car can be parked on the grass verge.

We had a fantastic time the accommadation is superb, beautifully clean and very comfy. We really loved all of the views from early morning sunrise (we had sunshine each day) to sunset where a full moon glistens over the sea, really beautiful. Loved the village of Chsrmouth where you can buy almost everything you need for a smashing holiday. Loved it.
