Salcombe is a Mecca for all things to do with the water, with a beautiful natural harbour providing an attractive destination for yachts, as well as a safe area for dinghy sailing and most forms of water sports. There are Ferries which run from nearby the cottage to the beach at South Sands and to Kingsbridge, both of which provide a wonderful scenic trip on the way.The cottage itself is warm, welcoming and full of character with the added benefit of a small outside patio from where you can watch the world go by as you relax in the sun.

Yes we loved Salcombe and the property. We liked Island Street as well, as it is the cool crafty side of the town. It was very easy for us to visit the local beaches and there was plenty to do in the area. We loved Boatman's cottage and it was perfect for us as a couple. It was nice to have the little outdoor area too. The wifi was excellent too.

Lovely decor well set up and quality fittings. Fantastic bathroom and very good shower. It's positioning in Island street is absolutely perfect for a wander into beautiful Salcombe. The availability of parking is excellent just a few minutes away. What a wonderful place. Top stay and recommended.
