What a fantastic idyllic place to spend a few days, wonderful hospitality and lovely owners... one of those holidays where you have time, space and peace to work out what you're going to do with the rest of your life!! even our 17 year old dog was rejuvenated having spent a week with the resident pooch....

The people at the bothy are brilliant. perfect place to relax and think.
We had a wonderful holiday at the bothy. michael & penny were great hosts and made us and our dog feel extremely welcome. i would highly recommend the bothy for a relaxing week. the selection of books to read in the library was extensive and varied and the location is handy for dartmoor and the coast. the cottage & gardens are beautiful and a testament to the hard work of the hosts. thank you again for a superb holiday.
We feel pretty safe with toad hall !
The bothy is a charming and cosy venue. we and our small dog were made most welcome and the owners could not have been more helpful. the welcome hamper was much appreciated. we hope to return in more clement weather!
