Set in the grounds of a 15th Century farmhouse, this newly converted Grade II listed barn has been tastefully and comfortably furnished with a hunters lodge theme. The property boasts real character with vaulted ceilings in the main living room and mezzanine whilst the new contemporary kitchen and bathroom provide a fresh, modern contrast.

Ideally located for access to the New Forest National Park, Romsey, Southampton, Salisbury and Stonehenge, this well-equipped barn comfortably sleeps four and offers two bedrooms, one large, spacious, ground floor bedroom and a charming mezzanine with twin beds, accessed via library ladder. Please note there is low headroom in the mezzanine.

Award winning Paulton's Park and Peppa Pig World is close by along with fishing at Woodington Trout & Whinwhistle Course Fisheries and the picturesque Wellow Golf Club just a few minutes' drive.  East Wellow has a strong historical connection with Florence Nightingale as her family home, Embley Park - now a school, situated close by and she was buried in the village churchyard.

Bridge End Barn and Bridge End Lodge (A913)  are in close proximity,  giving the option of combining the two properties to sleep 8 people in 4 bedrooms.

This well-equipped barn provides excellent accommodation for couples or small families wanting a base from which to explore the New Forest National Park and surrounding countryside in Hampshire.

March 2019

We had a wonderful relaxing break despite Storm Gareth! Would recommend the Barn.

February 2019

We had a pleasant stay at Bridge End Barn. The quaint accommodation is well-placed if you have plans to visit the surrounding local attractions. The customer service was excellent and our hosts were very friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. Highly recommended.

August 2018

Fantastic property lovely decor , clean tidy and a pleasure to stay in

July 2018

Excellent stay, great location. Upper bedroom , although we didn't need it, would be a concern if we had needed it. Very steep ladder, boiling hot in th summer heat, little ventilation.

October 2017

A lovely property in a perfect location for us with easy access to the New Forest and Southampton.

October 2017

Yes i enjoyed the stay, the cottage is very cosy, just what i needed to relax, and very close to lovely walks in the New Forest.

June 2017

We really enjoyed our stay at Bridge End Barn. The property is small but delightfully converted. The kitchen is a good enough size and nice to be able to open the door to the outside whilst cooking. The little decked area has a lovely seating area, lovely for breakfast or dinner. The decor overall is excellent. Our daughters aged 11 and 8 had no problem at all with the ladder into the mezzanine bedroom. In fact they loved it! Eldest did bang her head a couple of times in the night as she tends to move around a lot in her sleep but no other problems being in the loft space. Easy to find, nice parking spot. 10 mins to village with Aldi and Waitrose. Lovely property.

May 2016

Beautiful cottage, well presented, ideal location.

August 2015

A great place to stay in a good location for all the New Forest has to offer. Bridge End Barn is beautifully decorated in keeping with the property and superbly equipped. The addition of a welcome basket with milk, chocolates and a bottle of wine is a lovely personal touch from the friendly owners. First class.
